Registration Step-by-Step Instructions 2024-25 - April 15-20

 

  1. ALL current Heritage members will be able to enroll in classes independent of how many years they have been attending Heritage.

 

  1. Complete your Pre-Registration Checklist. (pre-registration checklist link here) Without this step your account will remain closed for registration.

 

  1. DON’T FORGET to update your child(ren)’s grade on your profile. An incorrect grade will prevent you from registering your child in the classes you want.

 

  1. Age/Grade exemptions are available. Request forms must be submitted by 6pm on May 13th in order to be processed prior to Summer Break (no exceptions). Students with birthdays up to 1 month after class start date will have quick approval of their requests. All others will have approval according to each teacher’s discretion. 

 

  1. After your pre-registration is successfully submitted (no missing or incomplete forms), you will receive an email from the Registrar confirming that you are all set to enroll in classes.

 

  1. “By Approval Only” classes require an application and pre-approval from the teacher before enrollment. Application forms are included in the class description. If a class is marked ‘Closed’, it means the teacher is no longer accepting applicants. Please do NOT register for these classes without applying and getting approval first or it will be cancelled.

 

  1. To register for classes:

J Log on to the Heritage homepage.

J On the sidebar menu click on Registration & Payments > Registration & Classes > Class Listing 2024-25.

J Click on the title of the class you desire to enroll in. Your student’s name will be active to enroll at that time.

J Click on your student’s name and click the ‘Register’ button.

J Click on the 'Balance' tab at the very top of the page. Proceed to pay via Zelle, credit card, or in-person with a check or exact-change cash during co-op Mondays. Material Fees are due by midnight on 4/30/24. Unpaid fees will result in registration cancellation.

 

  1. Waitlist (Important changes here!)

Each class description lists the current number of seats as “Children Available" and shows if a waitlist currently exists. Being on a waitlist requires no financial commitment or registration commitment.

A student cannot be registered in a class AND on the waitlist for another class the same hour. Students found in this situation will be canceled from the waitlist without further notice.

There is a maximum of 3 students on waitlist per class. Any students on waitlist above this limit will be removed from the waitlist without further notice.

You can check your student’s position on the waitlist at any time by clicking on the class listing, and then clicking ‘View Class Roster’. The waitlist is at the bottom of the roster.

If you choose to be on a waitlist, you agree to be automatically enrolled in the class if/when a spot becomes available. You will be contacted by the registrar informing you that your child has been added to the class and will be directed to submit the Materials Fee payment for that class.
