About Heritage Homeschool Cooperative

Minimize

Heritage Homeschool Co-Op was founded in 2003 and is dedicated to promoting and supporting homeschooling on the greater Seattle Eastside.  We are a community of 140+ homeschooling families.  We meet at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue, WA on Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and offer a variety of classes for K - 12th grade students.  We provide preschool and nursery for families with K-12 students enrolled.

Heritage provides homeschooling families an opportunity to extend their children's learning experience one day a week by engaging your child in small classes and providing an opportunity to develop friends and learn social and study skills in a fun group environment.  Heritage is designed to compliment the instruction you provide at home.

We believe that being involved in the education of our children is a unique ministry and in keeping with this, Heritage teachers and Board members sign a Statement of Faith which covers the basic tenets of Biblical Christianity.

Our mission is driven by the following:

  • The Ministry of Educating our Families
We believe that the privilege of educating our children is entrusted by God.

  • A Supportive and Caring Place
Homeschooling can be really hard at times.  Heritage strives to be a friendly place where families support and care for each other.  Many families comment that the parental support is as important to them as the quality instruction their children receive.

  • Small Size
Heritage's small size allows us to maintain a friendly environment where people get to know each other while still offering an exciting range of subjects.
