Heritage Homeschool Co-op Jobs for 2010-2011
One of the great features about Heritage is our unique family atmosphere. This atmosphere really shows in our co-op jobs and how we work together as a family to make it all happen. Most parents have one to two co-op jobs, depending on how long they are at Heritage. When a parent is sick and unable to attend, she/he is responsible for finding a replacement(s) and notifying the Jobs Director. The replacement must record the change on the jobs schedule upon arrival at Heritage. A contact list of available parents for each hour will be maintained on the heritagehsc.org website. We are one big family working together to give our children a wonderful opportunity.

Below is a brief description of our co-op jobs:
Class Facilitator
The class facilitator will be responsible for helping the teacher during class, keeping class attendance records, and making sure the room is set-up according to the teacher’s preferences. Every class, including preschool classes, has a facilitator.
Class Helper
The class helper assists the teacher and facilitator during class. Every class, including preschool classes, has at least one class helper.
Nursery Worker
The nursery workers take care of children that are in the nursery, as well as make sure the Nursery is clean and in order.
Study Hall Monitor
Study hall monitors maintain order and quiet in the study hall. The study hall is for children who do not have a class during a specific hour and need a place to study.
Nursery Coordinator
The Nursery Coordinator oversees the nursery workers and children in the nursery. She makes sure the parent/child ratio is maintained, procedures are followed, and that there are a variety of activities for the children.
